Welcome Aboard!

Hey everyone!

First of all, I want to personally welcome you to my new website! Whether you've been following my journey on Deadliest Catch for years or you're just getting to know me, I'm glad you're here. I've been wanting to create a place where I can share more of my life, my passion for fishing, and give you a behind-the-scenes look at the world of commercial crabbing.

There's plenty to explore! In the About Me section, you can learn more about my story, the challenges I've faced, and the journey that's brought me to where I am today. The Boat section is dedicated to the legendary F/V Cornelia Marie, her incredible history, and the crew I'm proud to work alongside. You'll also find information about my book, Relapse, as well as opportunities to get in touch for collaborations, appearances, and other inquiries.

And, of course, there's the Merchandise Store! I'm excited to announce that official Cornelia Marie merchandise is already available, so you can grab some gear and show your support for this legendary boat! My own Captain Jake merchandise isn't quite ready yet, but we're working on it, and you can expect it to launch later this month. Stay tuned!

Another thing I'm really excited about is this blog. My girlfriend Daisy and I will both be contributing regularly, sharing stories, interesting facts, and insights into everything related to crabbing, fishing, and life on the Bering Sea. From the different crab species we catch and the challenges of running a fishing vessel to personal experiences and behind-the-scenes stories, we hope to give you a closer look at a world that means so much to me.

While this website is meant to be a place where you can find information, explore my story, and learn more about the fishing industry, my social media pages are still the best place to follow my day-to-day adventures and get the latest updates. I'm especially active on Facebook and Instagram, and that's where I personally connect with you guys the most. Whether it's sharing something from the boat, posting a little piece of my everyday life, or interacting with your comments and messages, social media is where you'll get the most up-to-date glimpse into what's going on in my world. So make sure you're following me there too!

Most importantly, I want to thank all of you for sticking with me through the years. The support I've received through the good times and the difficult ones has meant more than you'll ever know. This website is another way for me to give something back and share a little more of the world I've dedicated my life to.
